Disposing Confiscated Gambling Machines
Gambling is the act of laying odds or betting using money or something valuable on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intention of winning money(profits) or material goods.
Following the confiscation of gambling machines by the national government, Fred Ngunga the Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) of Makadara Sub-county visited our centre to appreciate what we do and dispose the electronic equipment that the government has so far confiscated.
It is unfortunate that young children have become fanatics and that parents are not aware of what goes on. With the long school holidays, gambling is one of the causes of domestic theft cases where children pinch cash from their parents to satisfy their urge to win.
The WEEE Centre will be safely and properly disposing of the electrical and electronic parts that have been brought to the centre for disposal.
